Terms and Conditions for Kage

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Provider and Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of Kage, a digital service for Discord servers, including the Discord bot, web dashboard and the features and subscriptions offered from time to time.

The provider is:

Michael Gruhl – Kage
c/o buchimpressum.de GmbH

Königsberger Weg 8

53859 Niederkassel

Germany

Email: kagebotofficial@gmail.com

These Terms apply to consumers and business users, unless a specific provision states otherwise.

2. Description of the Service

Kage provides features for managing, moderating, organising and analysing Discord servers. Depending on the selected subscription and the features currently available, these may include administration tools, statistics, configuration options, ticket systems, community features and other modules.

The specific scope of each subscription is determined by the plan and feature descriptions displayed on the website or dashboard at the time of purchase.

Certain features require a Discord account. Users must also comply with Discord's applicable terms of service and policies.

Kage is an independent service and is not operated by Discord. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Kage has no corporate or organisational affiliation with Discord.

3. Registration and User Accounts

Some features require authentication through Discord. Users must grant the permissions necessary for the requested functionality and ensure that their Discord account remains accessible.

Users may only connect Discord servers for which they have the necessary rights and permissions.

Information provided during registration and use must be accurate. Users must not misuse their accounts or grant unauthorised third parties access.

4. Plans and Prices

Unless otherwise stated on the website, the following monthly prices apply:

  • Kage Premium: €5.00 per month
  • Kage Enterprise: €10.00 per month

The Setup Assistant Pro is not billed as a subscription; it costs €5.00 per use.

The features included in each plan, and whether an add-on requires a particular base plan, are specified in the relevant plan description presented before purchase.

The prices and payment terms displayed during checkout are authoritative for the relevant purchase. Any legally required tax information will be provided during checkout and on the invoice.

Paid features are provided only after the relevant order has been completed. A free testing period does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.

5. Formation of the Contract

The presentation of plans on the website generally constitutes an invitation to submit an order.

By completing the checkout process, the user submits a binding offer to enter into a contract. The contract is concluded when Kage confirms the order or activates the subscription.

Before completing the order, users are shown the selected plan, price, billing period and essential contractual terms.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly unless otherwise stated for the relevant offer.

Payments are processed through the payment providers actually offered during checkout. Stripe is currently used for payment processing. Other payment methods are available only if they are expressly offered during checkout.

Users must provide a valid payment method and ensure that payments due can be processed.

If a payment fails, Kage may ask the user to update their payment details and may temporarily restrict paid features after appropriate notice, where legally permissible.

7. Term and Cancellation

Subscriptions run on a monthly basis and renew for another billing period unless cancelled in time.

Users may cancel through the cancellation function provided in the dashboard or by emailing kagebotofficial@gmail.com. An email cancellation must identify the relevant user account and subscription clearly.

Unless statutory cancellation rights or other contractual provisions allow earlier termination, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.

8. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, unless a statutory exception applies.

The withdrawal period generally begins when the contract is concluded. Consumers may exercise their right by making an unequivocal statement to the provider, for example by emailing kagebotofficial@gmail.com.

It is sufficient to send the withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period expires.

If a consumer expressly requests that a digital service begin before the withdrawal period expires, special consequences may apply where the statutory requirements are met. The right of withdrawal expires only if all applicable legal conditions are satisfied.

9. User Obligations

Users agree to:

  • use Kage only for lawful purposes;
  • respect the rights of third parties;
  • refrain from bypassing security measures or obtaining unauthorised access to systems;
  • refrain from distributing malware, spam, fraudulent content or other abusive material through Kage;
  • comply with applicable law and Discord's rules;
  • use only content and data for which they have the necessary rights and permissions.

Users are responsible for their own configurations and for content published on their Discord servers.

10. Availability and Changes to the Service

Kage is provided within the limits of its technical and operational capabilities. Continuous or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance, security measures, technical failures, third-party outages or changes to Discord may affect the availability of individual features.

Kage may develop, modify or discontinue features, provided that this does not unlawfully impair essential services contractually promised to users. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

11. Third-Party Services and External Content

Certain features may depend on third-party services, interfaces or content. The terms and conditions of the relevant third parties may also apply to their availability, functionality and content.

Users must comply with the applicable terms of use and legal requirements for external content, including music streams. The availability of a stream through Kage does not grant any additional licence for public performance or other use.

12. Intellectual Property

Kage, including software, design, text, graphics and other content created by the provider, is protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights where the applicable legal requirements are met.

For the duration of the contract, users receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the subscribed features for their intended purpose.

Reproduction, distribution, modification, decompilation or other exploitation is permitted only within the scope of statutory exceptions or with the consent of the relevant rights holder. Mandatory statutory rights, including those under copyright law, remain unaffected.

13. Suspension and Termination of Use

In the event of serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, misuse or specific security risks, Kage may temporarily restrict access to affected features or terminate the contract for good cause.

Where circumstances permit, users will be informed before a restriction is imposed and given an opportunity to remedy the breach. Statutory rights and obligations remain unaffected.

14. Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under applicable product liability legislation, and in all other cases where a limitation of liability is prohibited by law.

In cases of slight negligence involving a material contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Material contractual obligations are obligations whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on which users may reasonably rely.

Otherwise, liability for damage caused by slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

These liability provisions also apply for the benefit of the provider's legal representatives and agents.

15. Data Protection

Information about the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy published at https://kage-bot.com.

16. Amendments to These Terms

These Terms may be amended only in compliance with applicable law. Where user consent is legally required, an amendment will take effect only once the necessary consent has been obtained.

17. Consumer Dispute Resolution

The provider is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

18. Governing Law

German law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, provided that this choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their habitual residence.

The statutory rules on jurisdiction apply to consumers. For merchants, legal entities under public law and special funds under public law, the provider's place of business shall be the place of jurisdiction to the extent legally permissible.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain effective. The statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision.
