Monitor Your Discord Server with the Desktop App: Control Center

The Kage Control Center is the Windows app that shows the health, activity, security and support of your Discord server. What it does, who gets it and where its limits are.

Updated: 14 October 2026

The dashboard in your browser is for setting up modules. Anyone who looks after a server every day mainly wants to see what is going on: Is the server doing well? Are there open tickets? Did something unusual happen? That is what the Kage Control Center is for, a desktop app for Windows. It does not configure anything. It shows you the state of your server and helps you act quickly.

In short: Download the app in the Kage dashboard, sign in with Discord and pick your server. You see server health, analytics, security and support at a glance. You keep changing settings in the dashboard.

What the app shows

  • Overview: Members, how many are online, active modules and messages today.
  • Server health: One overall score with a grade and the factors behind it, each with a plain-language reason. It takes into account growth, activity, retention of new members, voice and moderation, and in the higher tiers also support and security. It is not a black box: you see which number lifts or lowers the score.
  • Analytics: Charts for the last 30 days of messages and members, a comparison with the 30 days before and an activity leaderboard.
  • Security: Moderation cases (warning, kick, ban, timeout) and, separately, automatic events from anti-raid and anti-spam.
  • Support: Open and closed tickets, claiming, closing, reopening and escalating.
  • All servers: If you look after several servers, you see health, open tickets and security events of all of them in one overview.

Higher plans add deeper areas, for example members with role management and moderation actions, a support team with levels and online status, support analytics (for example time to first reply), the Gaming Center and a creator ranking. Which feature belongs to which plan is shown in the "Matching Kage features" box further down and on the pricing overview.

Install and sign in

  1. Open the Kage dashboard of your server. If your server may use the app, you will see the Windows download there.
  2. Run the installer and open the app.
  3. Click Sign in with Discord. The sign-in happens in a small window of the app and closes by itself afterwards.
  4. Pick your server. Only servers where you have management rights and that have a matching plan are listed.

The app checks for updates itself. Once a new version has finished downloading, a notice appears at the top where you can install it with one click, or it is applied the next time you start the app. The interface is available in German and English.

Notifications

The app can send desktop notifications when something happens on the server you currently have open, for example a new or escalated ticket or a hit from anti-raid or anti-spam. You switch them on and off in the app's settings, separately for each kind of event.

What the app honestly cannot do

  • No configuration: Setting up modules, choosing channels and roles or inviting the bot all happen in the dashboard.
  • Gaming Center only from the moment it is switched on: It evaluates the "now playing" status and starts only when the feature is running. There is no data for the time before, and only finished sessions are counted.
  • Automatic security events are free text: Moderation cases are structured and reliable. For anti-raid and anti-spam there is only the message itself, without fixed fields for the culprit and the target.
  • Windows only. There is no app for other systems.
  • Not a replacement for monitoring: The app shows you numbers and cases. The Monitoring module tells you when settings or permissions are broken, also directly in Discord.

Typical uses

  • Take a quick look at server health in the morning and check whether retention or activity dropped.
  • Work through tickets as a support team and escalate them without constantly switching to Discord.
  • After a raid, use security to see what anti-raid and anti-spam did.
  • With several servers, use all servers to see where action is needed right now.

Works well with

If you want problems to be reported before you notice them in the app, server monitoring helps. How the support system itself works is explained in Setting up a Discord ticket system. For the numbers behind growth, growing your Discord server is worth a read.
