Kage Points: Collect Points and Redeem Them for Free Months

Kage Points reward servers that use Kage and help improve it. You collect points and redeem them for free months. The points balance belongs to the server, not to a single person. The Kage Points page in the dashboard shows the balance, the history and the rewards you can redeem.

Kage sets the exact numbers during operation. The values in this article are the default values as of this article. What the page in the dashboard shows is authoritative.

Collecting points

Important:

• Subscription months: Points are given for paid months, not for a trial, free months or admin unlocks. The amount is the same each month. A cancellation stops the collecting.
• Referrals: You invite a new server through your personal referral link in the dashboard. A server Kage already knows does not count. Your own referrals and duplicates are excluded. An operator can additionally require a minimum standing time of the new server before the points flow.
• Bug reports: In the dashboard you submit a report with title, description, expected and actual behaviour and steps to reproduce. Each field needs at least 10 characters. The Kage team reviews the report. Points only come after confirmation, as a flat amount regardless of severity.
• The monthly limits prevent points from piling up through sheer volume.

Redeeming points

Under Kage Points you see the rewards with their costs, for example "1 month Premium for free" and "1 month Enterprise for free". If you have enough points, click Redeem. Kage deducts the points and unlocks the plan for one month.

• Redeeming is safe against double clicks: two simultaneous clicks do not redeem twice.
• Credited free months themselves bring no new points, because points are only given for paid months.
• The progress to the next reward is shown on the page.

For orientation: the default costs are 1100 points for a Premium month and 2200 for an Enterprise month. After 11 paid Premium months at 100 points each, a free month is therefore possible.

History

The history lists every booking with amount, reason, time and the balance afterwards: earned points, redeemed points, bonuses and corrections. Corrections appear as a booking of their own.

Settings at a glance

Kage Points have no settings you can change. You collect and redeem.

Checking the result

1. Open the page: In the dashboard, open Kage Points. Balance and rewards appear.
2. Referral link: Your personal link is ready there. Copy it.
3. Redeem: If you have enough points, redeem a reward. The balance drops and the plan is unlocked for one month.

Troubleshooting

"Not enough Kage Points for this reward"

You are short of points. The page shows how far along you are.

The points for a subscription month are missing

Points are only given for paid months. A trial, a free month or a manual unlock brings none.

The referral brought no points

The server was already known to Kage, the monthly limit was reached, or a minimum standing time applies. When the limit is reached, the referral waits until there is room again.

My bug report brings no points

The Kage team has not confirmed it yet, rejected it, or the monthly limit was reached. If the limit is reached, the report stays confirmed but without points.

Redeeming fails

The reward no longer exists, or the balance is not enough. Reload the page.
